Mission
is located in San Lucas Toliman, Guatemala, on the shores of Lake
Atitlan. Since his 1964 arrival in San Lucas, Father Gregory Schaeffer has
promoted programs that empower the people of San Lucas economically and
socially. The Mission grounds its outreach in a Catholic worldview that
affirms the full humanity of all. Its programs therefore not only
provide economic support, but also give a sense of dignity and pride to the
people of San Lucas."
